Rules & regulations
Adobe Pickleball Tournament 2026 | Rules & Regulations 1. Eligibility: Participation is open to Adobe employees only. Players must register on StapuBox before the registration deadline. 2. Reporting: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match. Late arrival may result in a walkover at the referee’s discretion. 3. Format & scoring: The tournament format, scoring system and fixtures will be shared before play begins. Players must follow the published schedule and category rules. 4. Serve: Serve underhand from behind the baseline, diagonally into the opposite service court. The serve must clear the non-volley zone, also called the kitchen. 5. Two-bounce rule: The receiving team must let the serve bounce before returning it. The serving team must also let the return bounce before playing it. After these two bounces, volleys are allowed. 6. Kitchen rule: Players cannot volley while touching the kitchen or its boundary. This also applies if their momentum carries them into the kitchen after a volley. Players may enter the kitchen to play a ball that has bounced. 7. Line calls: Balls touching a boundary line are in, except a serve touching the kitchen line, which is a fault. Referees will resolve disputed calls. 8. Equipment & attire: Wear sports attire and suitable court shoes. All equipment used must be approved by the organisers. 9. Fair play: Respect fellow players, referees and organisers. Abusive language, unsafe play or misconduct may lead to disqualification. 10. Decisions & updates: Referee decisions on court are final. Any changes to fixtures or timings will be communicated through StapuBox. 11. Health & safety: Participate only if medically fit, warm up before playing and report any injury or discomfort immediately.
