This Cookie Policy explains how StapuBox ("we," "our," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies within our mobile application (the "App"). By using StapuBox, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This document complements our Privacy Policy and is part of our commitment to transparency.

Cookies are small data files placed on a device by a website. Mobile apps use equivalent technologies — such as local storage, session tokens, and SDK-based identifiers — to deliver similar functionality (for example, keeping you logged in or remembering preferences).

2. How we use cookies and local storage

In the current version of StapuBox, we use cookies or equivalent technologies only for essential purposes:

• Session management: Maintain your authenticated session so you stay logged in for up to 30 days. After expiry, you must re-authenticate.
• Security and functionality: Support account security, detect misuse, and ensure smooth operation of the App.

We do not use cookies for advertising or remarketing in this version of the App.

3. Planned future use

Future updates to the App may introduce additional technologies for:

• Analytics: Tools such as Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel to understand usage and improve features.
• Attribution & campaign measurement: Tools such as Appsflyer may be used to measure installs and campaign performance.

If we add these, we will update this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy accordingly.

4. Third-party access

At present, StapuBox does not share cookie/local storage session data with third-party advertisers. All session data is stored and processed on StapuBox servers. If we integrate third-party analytics or attribution providers in the future, limited data may be shared with those providers solely for analytics, performance monitoring, or attribution — never for resale.

5. Retention and expiry

Session tokens or equivalent local storage data expire automatically after 30 days. Once expired, you will need to log in again. We do not retain expired session tokens beyond this period.

6. User control

Because StapuBox uses only essential session technologies in this version, disabling them will prevent the App from functioning correctly (for example, you may be unable to stay logged in). In future, if non-essential analytics or tracking technologies are added, you will be provided options to manage or opt-out of those services.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our own practices. Any updates will be posted in the App and take effect immediately with an updated effective date.
