Squad Creation & Participation Terms
Effective Date: September 27, 2025
These Squad Creation & Participation Terms (“Squad Terms”) supplement the
StapuBox Terms & Conditions and apply to all users who create, join,
administer, or participate in squads on the StapuBox platform.
1. Scope & Acceptance
By creating, joining, administering, or participating in any squad on
StapuBox, you agree to be bound by these Squad Terms in addition to the
main StapuBox Terms & Conditions.
2. Role of StapuBox
StapuBox acts solely as a facilitation platform to enable networking,
communication, and coordination among users.
- StapuBox does not organize, manage, or supervise squads.
- StapuBox does not verify squad members or affiliations.
- StapuBox does not control offline activities conducted by squads.
3. Squad Types & Visibility
- Public Squads: Discoverable by users.
- Private Squads: Require admin approval to join.
- Hidden Squads: Not searchable and accessible only by invitation.
Visibility does not imply endorsement or verification by StapuBox.
4. Squad Admin Rights & Responsibilities
Squad admins may:
- Approve or remove members
- Assign or revoke admin roles
- Moderate squad communications
Admins are solely responsible for their decisions and conduct.
StapuBox may revoke admin privileges, suspend squads, or remove content
at its sole discretion if misuse, harassment, or violations occur.
5. Association with Companies, Residences & Venues
Squads may be associated with companies, residences, societies, or
playgrounds through platform fields.
- Such association does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, employment relationship, or authorization.
- StapuBox does not verify employment authority beyond limited email/domain validation where applicable.
- StapuBox is not responsible for false representation of affiliation.
6. Financial Dealings
Squads are not permitted to collect or process payments through StapuBox.
Any financial dealings between members occur independently and at their own risk.
StapuBox does not mediate or resolve financial disputes.
7. Offline Meetups & Assumption of Risk
Squads may coordinate offline activities or meetups. Such interactions
are voluntary and occur entirely at the participants’ own risk.
- StapuBox does not supervise or control offline activities.
- Participation in sports carries inherent risks of injury.
- Users are responsible for their own medical fitness, insurance coverage, and safety precautions.
- StapuBox provides no medical supervision or safety guarantees.
8. Harassment, Misconduct & Criminal Conduct
Any harassment, discrimination, assault, unlawful activity, or misconduct
occurring within or outside squad interactions is the responsibility of
the individuals involved.
StapuBox may take platform-level action including suspension or removal
but does not investigate or adjudicate real-world incidents.
9. Internal Disputes
Disputes between squad members or admins are to be resolved independently.
StapuBox does not mediate internal squad conflicts.
10. Minor Participation
Users aged 13–17 may participate only under parental or guardian supervision.
Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for minor participation and offline interactions.
11. Reporting & Platform Enforcement
- Users may report squads or members.
- Reporting does not guarantee specific action or outcome.
- StapuBox may act at its sole discretion.
- StapuBox is not obligated to disclose actions taken.
12. Indemnification
Squad creators, admins, and members agree to indemnify and hold harmless
StapuBox from claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from:
- Squad creation or administration
- Offline meetups or sports activities
- Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
- Misrepresentation of affiliation
- Third-party disputes
13. Amendments
StapuBox may update these Squad Terms at any time.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
