Event Creation & Participation Terms
Effective Date: September 27, 2025
These Event Creation & Participation Terms (“Event Terms”) supplement the
StapuBox Terms & Conditions and apply to all users who create, join, or
participate in events on the StapuBox platform.
1. Scope & Acceptance
By creating, joining, or participating in any event on StapuBox, you agree
to be bound by these Event Terms in addition to the main StapuBox Terms &
Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the
event-related features of the Platform.
2. Role of StapuBox
StapuBox acts solely as a facilitation platform to enable discovery,
coordination, and communication related to sports events. StapuBox does not:
- Organize, host, or conduct events
- Collect, process, store, or settle payments
- Guarantee participation, attendance, quality, or outcomes
- Mediate disputes between organizers and participants
3. Event Types & Visibility
Events may be created with different visibility settings:
- Public Events: Discoverable by users, with or without organizer approval
- Private Events: Participation requires mandatory organizer approval
- Hidden Events: Not searchable or visible unless explicitly invited
Event visibility or invitation does not guarantee participation or approval.
4. Joining, Approval & Participation
- Submitting a request to join does not guarantee acceptance
- Organizers may approve, reject, or remove participants at their discretion
- Participants may withdraw from an event at any time
- StapuBox does not enforce attendance or participation commitments
5. Paid Events
5.1 Pay Now
- Payments are made directly to the organizer using provided payment instructions
- Uploading payment confirmation does not guarantee acceptance into the event
- StapuBox does not verify payment proofs or transaction authenticity
5.2 Pay Later
- Payment terms are mutually agreed between organizer and participant outside the Platform
- No payment deadlines are enforced by StapuBox
- StapuBox bears no responsibility for non-payment or related disputes
6. Payments on Behalf of Others
Participants may make payments on behalf of other participants (e.g., team or
doubles events). Such arrangements are strictly between users. StapuBox does
not manage, verify, or resolve internal settlements or disputes.
7. Pricing & Payment Instruction Changes
Organizers may modify event pricing or payment instructions at any time.
Participants are responsible for verifying current details before making
payments. StapuBox does not track historical changes or assume liability
arising from such modifications.
8. Cancellations, Changes & No-Shows
- Events may be cancelled or modified by organizers at any time
- Venue, date, time, or format may change
- Participants may be removed or may choose not to attend
- StapuBox does not process refunds or financial settlements in any scenario
9. Disputes & Reporting
Users may report events or organizers through the Platform. Reporting does not
imply dispute resolution, refunds, or liability. StapuBox may take
discretionary action, including content removal or account suspension, but is
not obligated to resolve disputes.
10. Assumption of Risk & Liability Disclaimer
Participation in events is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by
law, StapuBox shall not be liable for any losses, damages, injuries, financial
disputes, or outcomes arising from event participation or organization.
11. Amendments
StapuBox may update these Event Terms from time to time. Continued use of the
event features after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised
terms.
