Event Creation & Participation Terms

These Event Creation & Participation Terms (“Event Terms”) supplement the StapuBox Terms & Conditions and apply to all users who create, join, or participate in events on the StapuBox platform.

1. Scope & Acceptance

By creating, joining, or participating in any event on StapuBox, you agree to be bound by these Event Terms in addition to the main StapuBox Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the event-related features.

2. Role of StapuBox

StapuBox acts solely as a facilitation platform to enable discovery, coordination, and communication related to sports events.

• StapuBox does not organize, host, conduct, or supervise events.
• StapuBox does not verify venues, participants, or organizers.
• StapuBox does not collect, process, store, or settle payments.
• StapuBox does not guarantee attendance, participation, safety, or outcomes.

3. Event Visibility & Types

• Open Events: Discoverable by users.
• Invite-Only Events: Participation requires organizer approval.

Event visibility or invitation does not guarantee participation.

4. Association with Companies, Residences & Venues

Events may be associated with a company, residence, society, or playground through platform fields selected by the organizer.

• Such association does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, employment relationship, or authorization.
• StapuBox does not verify venue ownership, licenses, infrastructure, or safety standards.
• StapuBox does not verify employment authority even in verified company pages beyond limited email/domain validation.
• StapuBox is not responsible for false representation of affiliation.

5. Joining & Participation

• Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance.
• Organizers may approve, reject, or remove participants.
• Participants may withdraw at any time.

6. Payments

6.1 Pay Now

• Payments are made directly to the organizer.
• Uploading payment proof does not guarantee acceptance.
• StapuBox does not verify payment authenticity.

6.2 Pay Later

• Payment terms are mutually agreed outside the Platform.
• StapuBox bears no responsibility for non-payment or disputes.

7. Cancellations & Changes

• Events may be modified or cancelled at any time by organizers.
• Venue, date, time, or format may change.
• StapuBox does not process refunds or settlements.

8. Assumption of Risk & Physical Activity Disclaimer

Participation in sports events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury (fractures, sprains, concussions, cardiac events)
• Accidents or negligence at venues
• Assault, harassment, theft, or misconduct by participants
• Property damage

By participating, you acknowledge that:

• You voluntarily assume all risks.
• You are responsible for your own medical fitness.
• You are responsible for your own insurance coverage and medical expenses.
• StapuBox provides no medical supervision or safety guarantees.

9. Employment & HR Disclaimer

StapuBox is not responsible for employment disputes, HR matters, workplace misconduct, or internal disciplinary actions, even if an event is associated with a verified company page.

10. Criminal Conduct & Misconduct

Any unlawful behavior, harassment, discrimination, assault, or criminal conduct occurring during or after an event is solely the responsibility of the individuals involved. StapuBox may take platform-level action but does not investigate or adjudicate real-world incidents.

11. Reporting & Platform Action

• Users may report events or participants.
• Reporting does not guarantee investigation outcome.
• StapuBox may act at its sole discretion.
• StapuBox is not obligated to disclose actions taken.

12. Minor Participation

Users aged 13–17 may participate only under parental or guardian supervision. Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for minor participation, offline interactions, and physical activities.

13. Indemnification

Event creators and participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless StapuBox from claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:

• Event organization or participation
• Physical injury or property damage
• Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
• Misrepresentation of affiliation
• Financial disputes between users

14. Amendments

StapuBox may update these Event Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
